Granite State melon

Origin - USA, created by the University of New Hampshire. It came from a cross between a Michigan Experiment Station selection of Honey Rock crossed with a selection from a muskmelon grown by the Mennonite farmers of southern Manitoba, Canada.

Rind - Lightly netted.  Flesh - Deep orange, high sugar content.  Fruit weight -  1-2 kg
