Origin - USA. This heirloom from the northwest predates 1900

Days till harvest - 90 

Rind - Football shaped.   Flesh - wonderfully fragrant, sweet orange flesh that has a delicate  and complex flavour.  Fruit weight - 1-2kg.

Prone to sunburn. Large seed cavity with fairly small flesh layer. 

My Notes: First time growing this variety. Just picked my first fruit and I am pleasantly surprised with the taste. It is like supermarket musk/rock melons but so much more, very fruity and moreish.

Will be growing again next year. Only 5 fruits off four plants but I hope it will produce better with better care.
