Voatango melon

Origin - Madagascar

Days till harvest -

Rind - Long oval, smooth, yellow.  Flesh - light-orange, has a nice smell, but is rather tasteless. Depending on maturity, the flesh can be more or less sweet.  Fruit weight - 2 kg.

Grows well in the wet and cold (one of the more cold resistant melons). This may be a melon that needs to be kept for a day or two to develop the flavour.

My Notes:

Voatango simply means 'melon' in the local language of madagascar.
