White Sugar Lump watermelon

Origin - USA. It was carried by the Henry Fields Seed Company in the 1950’s and 1960’s, and in 1956 they said “Sweet as sugar, that’s why we call them Sugar Lumps.” They offered these in three colors: red, yellow and white.

Days till harvest - Early

Rind - Thin-striped rind.  Flesh - The pale flesh is a creamy white color with a light, refreshingly sweet taste.   Fruit weight - 2 -4 kg.
